Locked to NdPr basket pricing
Magnet plants buy NdPr oxide as a single SKU at the ~25/75 natural separation ratio. Pure Pr6O11 requires an additional separation cycle and trades at a modest premium when needed for ceramic pigments or didymium glass.
Magnet demand wildcard
Pr demand tracks total NdFeB magnet output (EVs, wind turbines, consumer electronics). Forecasts of EV traction motor magnet demand drive Pr/Nd basket pricing more than any other factor.
