Submit a listing and you’ll immediately see your asking price checked against the sourced dataset:

  • A fair-price range. The weighted P25 / P50 / P75 of the matching sourced records, in USD/kg, the same engine behind the Price Gauge.
  • Your price, positioned. Whether your asking price sits below, within, or above that band, with the gap to the median.
  • The full basis. Records matched, distinct sellers, date span, and method, each traceable to the element’s provenance table. If too few records match, it says so rather than inventing a number.

Your submission is stored as pending and reviewed by a maintainer before publishing. Listings never auto-publish into the open dataset.
