Gray Matter Specimens is a one-person collector-dealer operation in the United States. The inventory comes from estate purchases, collection trades, and occasional surplus-laboratory buys; pieces are sorted, weighed, and sealed before listing. Where a lot arrived with paperwork, the paperwork is attached to the listing; where it did not, the listing says so.

The focus is display-grade material: dendritic crystals, clean chunks, and boxed multi-element sets assembled from stock.
